Rustic Bakes may collect your name, email address, phone number, business name, delivery address, order details, requested dates, dietary information and anything you include in an enquiry or order note. The website may also receive basic technical information needed for security and reliable operation.
How we use your information
We use this information to respond to enquiries, prepare and fulfil orders, calculate delivery, take payment, provide customer service, maintain order records and respond to wholesale and corporate enquiries. We may also use it where reasonably necessary to prevent misuse or comply with legal obligations.
Payments
Online payments are processed by Stripe. Rustic Bakes does not store complete card details. The payment provider handles payment information under its own privacy policy and security practices.
Delivery calculator and addresses
When you use the delivery calculator, the address you enter is sent to OpenStreetMap’s address-search service so it can be located and the distance estimated. A standalone calculator search is not added to the Rustic Bakes customer records. If you complete an order for delivery, the delivery address and calculated fee are stored with that order so it can be fulfilled.
Who information may be shared with
Information may be shared with trusted providers only where needed to host the website, process payment, calculate or complete delivery, send service messages, or comply with the law. These providers may process information in Australia or overseas. Rustic Bakes does not sell customer information.
Website storage
The website stores your basket on your device so it remains available while you browse. Essential session or security storage may also be used for administrative access. Rustic Bakes does not currently use the website to sell browsing information or run third-party advertising profiles.
Security and retention
Reasonable safeguards are used to protect customer information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Information is kept only for as long as reasonably needed to manage orders, enquiries, disputes and legal or record-keeping obligations, then deleted or de-identified where practical.
Access and correction
You may contact Rustic Bakes to ask what personal information is held about you, request a correction, or raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify your identity before providing or changing personal information, and some records may need to be retained where required by law.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the website, service providers or privacy practices change. The current version and its update date will remain available on this page.
