Orders

Orders are only confirmed once payment has been received. Please check your order details carefully before submitting your order. An automated receipt confirms that the request was received; Rustic Bakes will separately confirm availability, the requested date and fulfilment details.

Payment

Full payment is required at the time of ordering unless otherwise agreed. Orders will not be prepared until the required payment has been received. All website prices and fees are shown in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable.

Pricing and promotions

Delivery fees and any valid discount are shown before payment. Promotion codes may have an expiry date, minimum spend or product exclusions and cannot be exchanged for cash. If a genuine pricing or availability error affects an order, Rustic Bakes will contact you before preparation begins and offer a correction or refund.

Custom cake deposits and cancellations

Custom cake orders require a minimum four-week lead time and a 50% deposit to secure the booking. Deposits are refundable only if the order is cancelled at least three weeks before the agreed pickup or delivery date. Within the three-week period, deposits are non-refundable. Date changes may be accommodated at Rustic Bakes’ discretion and subject to availability. The remaining balance is due 48 hours before pickup or delivery.

Pickup

Pickup is free from Glenmore Park, NSW on Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Customers are responsible for collecting their order on the agreed date and within the confirmed time. If you cannot make your pickup time, please contact us as soon as possible. Uncollected orders will be held for up to 48 hours after the agreed pickup date, after which they may be disposed of. No refund or replacement will be provided for an order that is not collected, except where required by law.

Delivery

Delivery is offered on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays by arrangement. The current delivery rate is Free delivery within 5 km. Beyond 5 km: $10.00 base fee plus $2.00 per additional km (rounded up) · Within 60 km of Glenmore Park. Free local delivery on orders of $100.00 or more after discounts.. Distance is estimated from the Glenmore Park area to the delivery address and the final fee is shown before payment.

The customer must provide complete and accurate delivery details and ensure someone is available to receive the order. If delivery cannot be completed because the address is incorrect or no one is available, the order may be returned and a further delivery fee may apply if redelivery is agreed.

Cancellations and changes

Due to the made-to-order nature of our products, cancellations or changes may not be possible once preparation has begun. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to make a change. This change-of-mind policy does not limit any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.

Allergies and dietary requirements

Please advise us of any allergies or dietary requirements before ordering and contact Rustic Bakes if you require allergen information for a product. Products are made in a kitchen that handles common allergens, including wheat, gluten, milk, egg, soy, sesame, peanuts and tree nuts. Rustic Bakes cannot guarantee that products are completely free from traces of allergens and will tell you if a requested allergen-free product cannot be safely provided.

Product appearance

Our products are handmade, so slight variations in appearance, colour, size and decoration may occur. We will always aim to ensure your order matches the agreed design as closely as possible. Reference images are inspiration and do not guarantee an exact replica.

Product quality and storage

Storage and handling instructions supplied with an order must be followed. After pickup, Rustic Bakes is not responsible for damage caused by incorrect handling, storage, customer transport or exposure to heat. For delivery orders, Rustic Bakes remains responsible for the order until it is received at the agreed address.

Issues with your order

If there is an issue with your order, please contact Rustic Bakes as soon as possible after pickup or delivery and provide photographs where practical. The product may need to be returned for assessment before a resolution can be provided.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. Depending on the issue, you may be entitled to a replacement, refund or other remedy.

Changes to these terms

Rustic Bakes may update these Terms & Conditions when necessary. The terms that applied when your order was placed will continue to apply to that order.
